Getting them early

Last night, I took a group of cyber students in Dubai (note the ratio: 12 girls, 2 guys!) through a deep dive into the “Neuroscience and Prevention of Burnout” as part of the Thales EMEA cybersecurity boot camp.
Thanks Raymond Frangie for the opportunity to share the Cybermindz.org approach and how we are applying iRest Protocol to build mental resilience into new entrants into cyber. So they never reach burnout.
The schematic above was part of the presentation. It’s an encapsulation of 15 factors we’ve identified which combine to make cybersecurity one of the most challenging areas to be working in. And why becoming super resilient early in your career matters!
Let’s build skills. But let’s not forget our ethical obligation to empower our newbies to withstand stress and *thrive in cyber*.
